One of my favorite late afternoon or after dinner drinks in winter. I find it nurturing and warming for the body and soul.
Fresh goat milk
Honey from the hive
1 tsp butter
3 cardamom pods
10 saffron threads
Ceylon cinnamon
Vanilla
Gently heat the milk on the stove with the rest of the ingredients. Heat the milk hotter than you would want for drinking, but don't boil. Pour the milk through a strainer into a mug, it should be hot like coffee or tea would be, and drink by the fire on a cold, rainy day.
